She was told to be good....

I finally finished this fabric piece ( 12" x 16") that I have been working on for several weeks... the tags hanging in the tree say "She was told to be good... and so she lived her life with both feet planted firmly on the ground".
The tags on the bottom read "cherish, create, love, hope, fly, believe, dream, grow".
The background fabric was painted with acrylics and the fabric pieces were both sewn and glued down.

Isn't this piece as creative as can be! Her feet planted in the ground, but growing, rooted, deeply expanding in different horizions and ventures. When we allow ourselves the freedom to be comfortable with ourselves we become fuller, and richer for it.

Deb, thank you for visiting me over at Alix's Attic. It's great to meet you, too. I think those of us who like the freedom of wiggling toes and not perching precariously on high heels need to present a united front. I appreciated your comment, and I'll be visiting you often!
