Things are not always as they seem...

I just do not have it in me right now to write a long, philosophical discussion of my time at Art and Soul. There was much I learned about other people, myself, the new path I believe has been chosen for me. Things that I thought to be true have been challenged. I am looking at the world with new eyes, and this is very unsettling. In my art - in my life - things are not always as they appear.

Deb, were you in this class, too? I saw on Kristen's blog that she was and am so sad I didn't get a chance to meet her. Not you, too! :( Hopefully, next time. I do love how your boxes turned out though!

Wishing you much courage and inspiration for your new direction. Growth may be scary, but it's also something to celebrate!

Deb,
All the art you created at Art and Soul is fantastic! The metal work, the light boxes......wow, and the charms and necklace came out great! It sounds like you really had a wonderful time and whatever is on your mind upon your return home.....I hope it makes you happy!

These boxes are so amazing. I think they are my favorites of all the work I've seen from his classes. Wonderful job.

and then you leave me hanging ! ?

laughing.

Listen you are just overwhelmed right now. I have heard it said that after one of these retreats you are really just feeling of another world.

I can't wait to hear what you have to say next about your perceptions etc.

Breathe and take a time out to absorb and then DO TELL! I am all ears

Finally I got some blog visit time in tonight...sounds like you have a pretty GREAT time. At least I hope that is what I am hearing.

Can't wait to hear about Michael's class...I have a class w/ him at Art Fest. You sure have me curious !
Much Love, S.
