A New Year Begins....

You cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building nests in your hair. Chinese Proverb

Emily Dickenson said it best.... "My friends are my estate".
Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes. I am rich.

Oh, Deb. I've been without my computer for a week, and I come back on to find that you have been hospitalized? And your mom is in a nursing home?
I'm so very sorry. I am deeply moved by your last posts, and find myself wondering about you and praying that you are back home. Also that your folks will relent and accept a bit of charity.
It's so hard to grow old and lose one's independence. Honestly, how do they do it? It frightens me to think that I may someday be in the same fix. We have to grasp every second of this thing called "life," don't we, my friend?
Hugs-
Deb

Deb,
I am thinking of you and wanted to visit here just to.......I don't know, let you know that I am wishing you a good recovery and thinking of the trials you are enduring there! You are so right, how we learn from each thing that happens in our lives....big and small! And appreciation for our parents and how they cope with things too! I hope your Mom is doing ok and your Dad too! Much for you to take upon your heart for sure!!! Take care and rest Deb! Hugs,Patti

I did a Mojo Dance for you over at Beaux Cherie's new typepad blog !

Laughter is good medicine. I hope it works.

Thinking of you....and also thought the other day while driving , it is about time for a trim since we got our cuts at the same time. Go treat yourself to a pick me up....maybe it will help too.

Love, S.
