Treasure in the Cellar
It pays to poke around your basement occassionally... tucked away behind some old paint cans and canning jars was a roll of embossed wallpaper from a long-ago project. I painted large pieces with grey paint that contains iron particles and then covered that with a rusting solution. I love the colors that appeared!
The rest of this 5 x 7 piece is text from an old French dictionary, a daguerrotype image and old butons...

That is really something out of nothing isn't. I am a hoarder anyways, but your ideas are making me worse, I hardly dare throw anything out now in case I can use it for altered art and collage.
